OPINION: From the Mind of a Dumb ole Biker (Veterans Day & Politics)

From the Mind of a Dumb ole Biker from Alvin, Texas.

Well, I waited 2 days before writing this. Sunday was the Marine Corps 244 Birthday and Monday was Veterans day. I waited because what I’m about to say will undoubtedly piss a few people off. My father was a Marine Corps Veteran, My mother was an Air Force Veteran, My three brothers are all veterans of the United States Navy, and I’m a Marine Corps Veteran.
I watched over the weekend and through Monday, a bunch of Politicians all standing around saying we must honor our veterans, and they would be right, they should be honored, however, every one of them were speaking out their ass. Every one of them said, our veterans fought for our Democracy. We did not, we fought for our Republic, a better way of life for our kids and our grand-kids.
Every one of these politicians talked a good game, but they didn’t sincerely mean it. They all talked about the sacrifices we made, but now that they’ve returned to their perspective offices, work hard at undoing everything we were led to believe we were fighting for.
Taxes are going up, our freedoms are being spit on, they fight with our tax dollars to ensure there are more and more laws on the books decapitating our Freedoms of Speech, Our Freedoms of Religion, Our rights to Redress our Government. More laws to hamper our Right to bear arms, while at the same time, taking away our rights to unreasonable search and seizures, and taking away our right to due process and a fair jury by our peers before they take away those rights.

That’s the 1st, 2nd,4th and 5th Amendments. Now we see, that the 6th amendment is being used against a sitting President, they can’t even let the accused face the accuser.
With all of this taking place, it won’t be long before they are violating the 8th Amendment.

The 9th and 10th Amendment has practically been done away with, there are no more States Rights, nor the Rights of the people. The 9th Amendment was to cover all other rights not included in the Constitution, a coverall in case the Constitution left something out or didn’t cover it specifically, and the 10th was to guarantee that Federal law, didn’t conflict with State Law. The State laws were always supposed to outweigh federal law, unless it was in direct conflict with the Constitution. In other words, any law not covered by the Constitution was supposed to be left to the States, or to the people of those States.

Having said all that to say this. If these Pompous Ass’s seriously meant to thank a Veteran, and seriously meant to honor our service, they would be working hard to get us back to the confines of the Constitution, and not trying to force a Government on us that we fought in other countries to eliminate. Instead, these politicians are working to undermine the very type of Government we swore an oath to protect. We swore an Oath to protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, We swore to defend that with up to our very lives if necessary. How are those politicians honoring their Oath of Office? They aren’t, not one damn one of them, there are a few trying, but very damn few.

Well as I have said many times in the past, What do I know, I’m just a Dumb ole Biker from Alvin, Texas…
