Mighty Sam is the exemplification of a gallant as he battles autism, Duchenne Strong Dystrophy (DMD) and Leukemia the only way he knows how – like a superhero.
Sam was diagnosed with Autism at the young age of 3. At 5 years of age, he was determined to have Duchenne Strong Dystrophy (DMD). In May of 2018, Sam began his fight with ALL Leukemia.
He is the adored child of Ramon and Maria Lujan. Ramon works in the Radiology Office at Memorial Hermann TMC. Being a special needs parent requires a ton of work, mom (Maria) commits every bit of her time to caring for Sam and Sam’s 2-year-old brother, Silas.
Sam loves superheroes, going to class, and investing quality time with his active younger sibling.
He pushes the limits by continually to figuring out how to jump and be more dynamic. Sam has kept his positive and adoring attitude.
Please join Big Star Ford and other neighborhood organizations for a family fun day for an important cause to help the Lujan family amid Sam’s street to recuperation.
